This small, intimate "locanda" impeccably designed to take advantage of its idyllic, pristine setting within southern Tuscany. It was originally built in the XVII century as a country house and has been recently restored to retain the ambience and style of that period but with all modern amenities. Personally managed by the owner, it offers five luxury suite and one single room. Among the distinctive and authentic elements are terra-cotta floors, heavy wood-beamed ceilings, an arched courtyard.
	Regional and romantic furnishing, also a hallmark of the Locanda, include canopy beds, antiques, hand-forged iron light fixtures, local travertine bathroom counter. Each suite, consisting of a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, is unique and individualized in terms of design and decor. All accommodations offer exceptional comfort and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
The two suites on the ground level offer their own private garden and whirlpool. The three suites on the second floor are different for shape and architectural features. The largest has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common living room well suited for three people. Two of the suites have a fireplace. One has a sunken living room with an extraordinary floor-to-ceiling brick-grilled glass covered wall overlooking wheat fields. Another, which has numerous lovely architectural elements, offers the possibility of combining with a single room when such a situation is desired. Each suite is equipped with color TV, a safety deposit box, and a fully stocked mini-bar. Available to all guests during their visit is a large living room, a dining room for breakfast and dinner, a heated swimming pool and lounging area, adjoining a charming Tuscan garden, a courtyard filled with regional pottery and artifacts, and conducive for conversation, enjoying an aperitif, or relaxation. Guests are offered the choice of rates: bed and breakfast or half board, which includes the gourmet candlelight dinner. All meals are prepared on the premises, using recipes and ingredients typical of this region.
