San Casciano is at five minutes drive from the spa and the village.
It sits on top of a hill within 50 acres of oak woodland, pastures
and olive groves, commanding spectacular views of the Sienese
countryside, mount Cetona, mount Amiata, Radicofani, the castle
of Trevinano and San Casciano itself. It can sleep up to 13 people
(seven bedrooms, six bathrooms).
A renovated (ancient Roman Spa/Health and Beauty Farm with natural
hot water springs( plus a four stars Hotel) is now nearing completion.
The opening is expected for spring 2002. A tennis court is nearby.
Amenities include satellite TV (sets in every room), CD stereo,
various telephones, fax, heated swimming pool (14x14 metres),
three separate heating controls in the house, three fireplaces,
etc.
San Casciano is a very charming medieval village located in southern
Tuscany, a 20 minute drive from the A1 motorway (Rome-Florence)
and the rail station of Chiusi (Intercity trains to Rome or Florence-Milano).
the village has restaurants, shops, banks, pharmacy, etc.
This is an unspoiled part of Italy, recently being discovered
by those who enjoy and appreciate either its quiet beauty, its
central location between Rome and Florence, its flourishing artistic
and social life

Siena, Arezzo: 1hr; Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Orvieto:

Minimum stay is one week, maximum is four weeks.
Arrivals and departures should be respectively Saturday around
4pm and Saturday at 9:30am.
All prices include electricity, final cleaning and
laundry, three hours of daily maid service (except Sunday), six
hours of extra cleaning inside and outside per week, garden and
pool maintenance.
Heating (house and pool) and telephone are not included.
Extra hours for cooking and/or personal laundry
can be arranged with the housekeeper for US$ 10/hr plus cost of
food and beverages. (Dinners can be prepared and served at the
house for up to 14 people, upon due notice, every other evening.
A suggested "Tuscan" menu, in English and Italian, is
always provided to guests)
Some very nice restaurants also serve typical food
in the area.
